All over in many ways. Surprised challenge to safety in Chiang Mai a few weeks ago. Healing some injuries, body more stressed than mind, yet still nearly sent me packing back to the USA.
Then I realized: I like Chiang Mai. It's good for me, can afford nice place to live (with view), food, ease of well being (except walking alone late at night). New friends, making connections feels good. Many like-minded cratives here. I suspect it could be akin to a small version of Paris in the 1920s.
Bohemian artists from all over end up here. We are all doing our thing, yet easy to know the people involved. Many advocates leave you feeling glad that you can contribute. My creative self is blossoming: with podcasts, remembering musical background, reworking the Saint Anne Thrax book, promoting her and getting to know the altar ego better.
Nuff for now. Introducing Crazy Wisdom Divine a weekly podcast. Know you will enjoy. I'm very happy.
Be well

So many options, so much time, so few decisions... mostly just coasting along. Just an observation.
New space in Thailand puts different frame on life in US. From High School, to Hiram, Ohio University, cleveland rock and roll, the new york city years (Vogue, Mad Ave agencis, singing a lot in Carnegie and Lincoln ceenter, origami) then moving with Scott to San Fran (and splitting up soon after the 89 quake) Peachpit press production editor job. A job you love so much it stresses you completely to the max.
Foresaking security for major insecurity. The dark years. The light awakening. Now seems a mid morning feeling to life.
well that's my take on it. Each day brings new adventures, certainly not depressed and / or disgusted, bored, apathetic. Artwork is blossoming: STATrx, reworking book, Visual art practice, meditation. The master's thesis continues to gel.
Don't know where it's going but it's an interesting ride.
Like all our lives: many interesting rides.
cheers Tomji
OK... Paris has a minor/major role in the novel. Love, Love, Love: The Passion of Saint Anne Thrax. Now she's seemed to use her clout to make it very hot in a lot of places.
Here in Chiang Mai it's like 105 degrees with dripping humidity so that even a wrapped bar of soap is melting.
Next step: do some rain dances.
Enjoyed time at Wat Chiang Man today doing a ritual and meditations for all the women in my life who have helped me. Of course my birth mother, grandmothers, aunts were included. Not to mention my newest mom: MaMae dad's lovely wife. She makes me feel at home. That's what mother's do.
If you're a friend (male or female) you too are a mother. Thanks for all your support. And as for our Earth Mother Gaia this is a chance to begin again. Treating her with all the luvluvluv we can muster.
Till next blog.
Much metta,
Tomji
It's time to test the waters.
Here we have the tea party jesus: such a giver!

Fear not: it's time to cleanse thyself with the Thailand holy celebration of Songran.
Now is the time to clear away the bad vibes with the cleansing waters. There aren't any crucifixes involved, just water pistols.
Forget the raincoat, it's too hot. Feel free to enjoy the refreshing holy water. Even if it may come from the moat.
Get ready to get doused with water for a couple weeks.
Lucky I'm not in Chiang Mai, instead on holiday at Patong beach. Here 74 degree ocean water is clears away negativity. Leaving a deep inner freshness to celebrate the new growing season
The Thai Tourist Travel Chanel made it clear: this is the reason monks go into seclusion for 6 weeks is so they don't stomp on the rice seedlings. How sweet!
What Would Jesus do?
Most likely get out his water pistol and then go sit and meditate. That is if he wasn't having words put in his mouth.
Blessed Springness!
How I long for simplicity. Yet when it comes to new technology what is simple?
Uncovered this site. An open space for me to explore what's going on: like an open journal ready to unfold.
Today I'm putting up the site. Fiished touching up the site for Saint Anne Thrax:
http://saintannethrax.webstarts.com
Limited space means breaking up some topics to other sites
This is more a personal journal site.
Thanks for choosing to visit.
Best Wishes
